2016 - what a year

Hello everybody,

I'm really sorry that this blog post comes out so late but we'll be back to normal next week.

I hope you all had a nice and happy Christmas and a great start to the new year.

I know this last year has been very crazy but it's still worth mentioning some of the stuff and I'll be focusing more on funny and random stuff rather than all the bad things that have happened but there still are going to be some.
So for the start here are some of the great people who have died:

January:

  • I went to "Gruene Woche" which is a big fair that I went to nearly every year since I was born
  • Oxfam publishers report stating world's 62 richest people as wealthy as half the world's population


February:

  • I watched the Superbowl with a friend of mine there the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers
  • I travelled to London and it was one of the best times this year (every time I go there it just makes me realise how much I love this city even more)
  • The Reverant won BAFTA for Best Film


March:

  • I dressed up as a bunny at Eastern
  • Scott Kelly returned to Earth after 340 days setting and ISS record

April;


  • I got a different German teacher and he was just the best one I have ever had
  • the first baby born who has DNA from 3 parents in Mexico

May:


  • I started driving school
  • Ukraine wins with "1944" at 61st ESC

June:


  • we had a class trip to Berlin and it was so much fun
  • Brexit
  • Gotthard Base Tunnel completed (world' longest 57km)
  • Harry Potter and the Cursed Child premieres in London

July:


  • I went to summer camp and it was so much fun 
  • Pokémon Go was first released
  • Harry Potter n the Cursed Child is published at midnight

August:


  • the new school year started
  • longest Hunger strike ends after 16 years

September:


  • I had an amazing birthday and weekend with my friends
  • I got my drivers licence
  • Brangelina broke up

October:


  • I went to Lullusfest in Bad Hersfeld which was exciting
  • James Charles becomes first male face of CoverGirl

November:


  • I went to a lot of local events and to trips with my class
  • Trump was elected president
  • UNESCO adds Belgium beer to Cultural Heritage list

December:


  • more trips with family
  • stressful school weeks
  • Uni of Toronto scientist present finding of oldest water (2 billion years old)
  • Amazon announces 1st delivery by drone
