What it's really like to be an emotional person

Hello everybody,

do you also get this feeling that when you have to throw something away that is so stupid but it reminds you off sometimes and you just can't do it?
One example would be my the posters. I plastered them all over my room for a few years. I had over a hundred of them just on my wall and much more laying around. You couldn't see my wallpaper at this point but when I redecorated my room and had my walls painted I took them off and had to throw them away but I just couldn't. Many of them were Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana posters so basically my childhood and I couldn't throw them away. It took me so long and many inner fights to get rid of most of them. It felt like I was throwing that particular time of my life away and I'm never going to be able to see it and remember it again.
Another thing were magazines there was I teen magazine called "Bravo" I absolutely loved (and where I had most my posters from). I had at least 20 stacks of them. And I only looked through them once when I bought them. It was a lot easier to throw them away but it still was heard.

If not no problem because I'm going to try to explain it to you.

I do keep a lot of shit that nobody ever needs but this stuff reminds me of a certain moment of my life.

A more recent problem I have is that my storage space on my phone is running out but I can't really delete anything.
I mean picture and video wise. I wish I could have all the pictures I ever took with me at all times and could look through them whenever and wherever I want to.

The thing is I'm not someone who compulsive hoarders anything they see. I just want to keep my memories and you can find memories in every little think.

I just want to hold on to those days because they pass so fast and before you know you've forgotten the things that happened.
And who are we without our memories. The things that we remember that we felt, that happened to us are the things that define us. I can't imagine life without those memories.

Who would I be without my memories...and who would you be without yours?

Skincare favourites

Hello everybody,

as I talked about my make-up favourites last week and the week before it's now time for some skincare.
Disclaimer: I'm not an expert. These are only the things that work the best for me. I have sensitive and dry skin.

In this first picture, you can see my some of the things I use everyday.

Yves Rocher Sensitive Végétal (Soothing cleansing milk): I think most people can use this. It's fragrance, alcohol, colorant and paraben free. It makes my skin feel very soft. I use it every morning and evening.

Nivea Sensitive Caring Micellar Water: I love this micellar water it's the best one I had so far and it's perfect for my skin. After applying it tickles a little (i think that's good, correct me if I'm wrong).

Now let's talk about masks. The following masks are the ones I use frequently but there are also other masks that are great. I apply them once or twice a week.

Rituals Intensive Moisturising Mask: This mask fits ever skin type. I tend to use it more often in winter just to give my face the extra kick it needs.

Lush Rosy Cheeks: I love lush. I love their bath bombs but also their masks. I tend to use this mask more often in spring and autumn because I think these are the times I want my face to be a bit more glowy than usually. It smells so much of roses, you feel like you are in a garden.

Garnier Skin Active Hydra Bomb: This sheet mask is perfect for summer. It's very refreshing and hydrating. Even though you always look so weird when you wear this, I think they are the most effective for hydrating your skin.

What are your skincare favourites?

Hope you enjoyed this weeks post!

Make-up Favourites Pt. 2

Hello everybody,

as you know I did the first two sections of my Make-up Favourites last week so today I will talk you through the last two sections.

I will tell you a little bit about every product in the pictures starting from the left to the right side.

So let's get started:

Number three: Eyes and Eyebrows

trend it up "Ultra smokey eye shadow pen" (040): this pen has a brown-ish colour with red accents and it looks absolutely amazing. It comes with a blender on the opposite side which is very handy especially on holiday. It's very long lasting, has a great colour payoff and is waterproof.

NYX "butt 'naked'" Makeup Palette (S122): this palette has everything you need and is perfect for the holiday so you don't have to take five different things with you. It has different eyeshadows, blushers, illuminators and a bronzer as well as a mirror.
essence "eyeliner pen" (01): as you can probably see from the picture it's waterproof but also long-lasting and smudge-proof. Even though I had it for quite a long time now it still has a great colour payoff, not to forget it's the cheapest and best eyeliner I have ever had.

Lancôme "Le Crayon Khôl" (01 noir): my mum bought this in a set with a mascara but she didn't want it so I got it. But I definitely would buy it after I finish this one. It's very long lasting and waterproof and that's pretty helpful because my eyes tend to water a lot.

Manhattan "gel eyeliner" (black): I'm not very good with eyeliner pens so, I use gels a lot. I know a lot of people hate them but I think these are easier if you're not that talented with flicks. I'm not sure if it's just the products I use or my skin but this gel liner last way longer than any pen.

I know it's not that easy with mascaras because not every mascara works for everyone because we all have different types of lashes but I still wanted to include them.

Yves rocher "Sexy Pulp" (01): this is one of the best mascaras I have ever had. It makes my lashes so long.

MAC "Zoom  Waterfast Lash" (black): this is definitely the most long lasting mascara. It lasts multiple days in a row and is water fast. It's a bit more expensive but it's definitely worth it. Not to forget it makes my lashes extremely long.

Maybelline "Colossal Volum' Express" (black): Maybelline has the best mascaras. I especially love the Colossals so much. They give me so much volume, are long lasting and my lashes are like twice their size.

Catrice "Absolute Matt" eyeshadow palette (Eyes Wide Matt): I'm using the colour on the right even though an eyeshadow palette isn't the usual thing to use on your brows it's just that this colour fits my brow colour pretty much perfectly.

Maybelline "BROWdrama" (medium brown): I'm using this brow mascara to keep my brows in shape. It's so easy to apply and really helps you shaping but it hasn't this stiff feeling to it.
Number four: Lips

Sleek "Matte Me" (Shabby Chic): I love this lip cream. The colour is pretty much my own lip colour and it stays on forever plus it's matte and I love all things matte and glitter.

L'Oreal "Gold Obsession" (Rose Gold Obsession): I love the Color Riche lipsticks a lot. This has a pinkish coral colour with golden shimmer.

L'Oreal "Color Riche" (Naomi's Delicate Rose): this one is in a coral colour with orange shimmer. It's perfect for days you want to stand under the radar but still be a bit fancy.

L'Oreal "Color Riche" ( Eva's Pure Red): it's quite a rich red but perfect for going out. All the Color Riche lipsticks stay on your lips for hours.

essence "lights of orient" (Princess Jasmines Choice): another matte lipstick that I absolutely love. Perfect for autumn, in a beautiful berry tone. It's also very long-lasting for its price.

What are your makeup favourites?

I hope you enjoyed it.

Makeup favourites

Hello everybody,

today I thought I might share my favourite makeup pieces with you.

I split it into four sections and today I will talk you through the first two. Section number one is for primers and section number two is face.
I will tell you a little about every product, starting from the left to the right.
So let's get started:

Number one: Primers
Yves Rocher "Fixing Eyelid Primer": before I found it I always had that problem that I would need a lot of eyeshadow to make it look like I got at least a little bit on my eyeslids but that won't last long. You don't even need much of it, it will last you ages. I take about the size of a chia seed.

trend it up "under eye concealer & base" (010): I always have dark places underneath my eyes so, I look like I haven't slept in three years. With this kind of pink-ish colour, my undereye area looks so much more awake than I actually am.

NYX Studio Perfect "Photo-Loving Primer" (SPP02 Green): I have got quite a lot red places on my face and when I get spots they just multiply so the perfect way of getting them covered up is this primer. On bad days I take about a pea size and the better my skin looks the less product I take.

 Number two: Face

NYX HD "Finishing Powder" (HDF01 Translucent): let me tell you this powder is a lifesaver. It's so light but still so powerful. Your make up automatically lasts longer but you don't even look like you've got any powder on top.

Smashbox "Sunkissed Matte Bronzer" (Light Skin): you have no idea how long I was looking for a matte bronzer and I finally found one. This find was lifechangeing. Especially when you want to look a bit more sunkissed during the colder months. If you want to wear bronzer and you only have a sparkely one better leave it. It will look so weird and everybody will comment "You sparkle, why?" and explaining your situation to everyone drives you mad so better use matte.

NYX HD "Studio Photogenic Concealer" (CW01 Porcelain): this concealer with the anti-redness primer is perfect. And if you feel like not using a foundation this concealer will cover up any blemishes.

Astor "Perfect Stay Concealer" (001 Ivory): This is the perfect under-eye concealer. It's a bit lighter than my foundation. I will put a triangle of three dots underneath my eye, the top pointing towards my cheek. It makes you look much more awake and it doesn't crumble. It is supposed to last 24 hours but I can't assure you on that, I haven't tried myself.

NYX "stay matte but not flat" liquid foundation (SMF01 Ivory): this foundation has an amazing coverage but it does not feel heavy on your skin. It is oil free, water based, mineral enriched and gives you a matte finish and as far as I can judge this all these statements are true.

NYX "Baked Blush" (BBL09 Journey): I would describe the colour as a dusky pink and if you haven't got time in the morning this is a gamechanger. It's not only a blusher but also a bronzer and illuminator. It gives you face more depth with little effort.

Essence "me & my umbrella" (01 you can stand under my umbrella): this matte blusher is perfect for autumn. It has quite a light peach colour and it's very pigmented.

Manhattan "Tender Touch" (fresh peach 53N): this is my go to blusher. It looks very fresh, feels very soft and is extremely pigmented.

I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you again next week with section number three and four.

Love, Steff xx

Sharing some thoughts with you (Part 2)

Hello everybody,

in this post, I'm going to share thoughts with you that I normally don't share with other people.
I just want to ask you to not show any hate on these thoughts. I can totally understand if you think different about these things but I want this to be a place where you can just say what you think without being judged. So if you also have an opinion on something or maybe even feel the same way feel free to say it.

This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Why did it have to happen now?! Every effing test, every grade I get is more important than any other one has been before...

Every time I do something fun or risky like going on a fair. The next day my anxiety will hit me hard. It feels like it punishes me for doing something so ordinary so, I won't do it again...

After being on a good way falling back into it is so scary...
