Autumn and Christmas - my favourite seasons

Hello everybody,

because Christmas is just around the corner I thought about talking a bit more about my favourite two seasons (even tho a lot of the people won't consider Christmas as a season but I do). They are not only the last few months of the year it's also a time of joy and friends and family coming together.
Everybody has a favourite season, maybe you even love all of them but for me, these two are the best.
I think the reasons for this are quite simple, first of all: I love the weather when it gets a bit more chilly and you can cosy yourself up. Summer is way too hot for me just because I live right under the roof and I've got big windows on the south side it gets very hot in here in summer. Another reason why I love autumn is even tho it's chilly it's not freezing cold. I think the most obvious reason is what happens to all the trees, I mean doesn't it look beautiful having so many different colours on just one tree?! It's so nice to cosy yourself up in a nice warm jumper or hoodie, take an oversized scarf and a beanie and walk around in the nature. You all should consider taking at least a walk in a park or forest once a week it is so worth it.
It's time to light candles again (don't get me wrong I lit them up all year round) and having nice warm baths, which always get me into a good mood.

Let's talk about Christmas. It is the special time of the year to hang out with your friends and family more often than usually. It is a time not to worry about stuff and just enjoy every moment. Sure it is the most stressful time of the year especially for students because there are way more tests than at the rest of the time but I still do try my best to have as much time as possible with my friends and family. I think the best way to do this is to take all your worries put them in a box, lock that box and hide it far away from you until the new year has started. I know it's all easier said than done especially for people who worry a lot (but if someone who deals with anxiety and worries without even realizing it achieved it you this you can do this too), sure there are thoughts of worry that slip through sometimes but I try to not let them put me down.

Anyway, let's come to the real point.
To spend more time with family and friends, trying to do things you enjoy. Why don't you all have dinner together, decorate your house or flat, go to Christmas markets or bake. There is so much you can do together! Another thing that I love to do is to light a candle (of course), put on some Christmas jumpers or pyjamas and listen to Christmas music or watch a Christmas film.

I could go on and on and on and on but rather to read this five pages spend some time with your loved ones.

Just for the end, I've got two ideas what you could do at Christmas time:

1.) Do Secret Santa whether it's in your family or in your group of friends but it is also nice to do in school or at work. I love the version where you give each other some silly gifts nobody really needs it is so funny.

(This second one is not as christmassy as the Secret Santa one but for me and my family, it is a tradition now so we eat it every year several times.)
2.) The food I'm talking about is "Langos" it is a Hungarian meal and there are a lot of stands on my local Christmas market. If you don't know what it is I will try and explain it to you.
Basically, you have some dough that you fry. Then you put some sour cream on top and some cheese and ham (or anything else you want). You can also get it in a sweet version without the sour cream and you put but for example some applesauce on top. I love them (more the savoury version than the sweet) but is still love them to the end of time!!!!
If you ever see a sign that says "Langos" go and get one.

Right, I think you got an idea of how much I love these two seasons and there is way more to say but first of all: you get the point and second: go and spend time with your family and friends.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Love, Steff xx

PS: If you have reached this point I'm proud of you and very grateful. (you get another x for this)

PPS: I'm super sorry that the post was late :(

Ponchos - the best thing to wear in winter

Hello everybody;

as you know winter is coming (or already started) and it is getting colder everyday.
There is one winter essential I want to share with you: PONCHOS

These are amazing! I mostly describe them to people saying it's like bringing a blanket with you but these are stylish too. Everybody can find a poncho for themselves, I mean there are so many different out there.
Until now I only got two but I'm definitely going to get some more. The ones I have both have fringes and have a tartan pattern. They are so soft I take them with me everywhere.
I will leave some links down below.

Love, Steff xx

(PS sorry that this is just a short one but I had a very busy week. There will be a long one next week)

Christmas Decorations

Hello everybody,

as it is December (Finally!!!) and there is no shame anymore of having your Christmas decoration up I thought I show you mine. I'm honest with you guys, I've put up my decoration a few weeks ago which feels quite late for me but in Germany there is this holiday called "Totensonntag" which is the last Sunday before the first advent and it is kind of a tradition to put up your decorations after this day has past. People here do not like it if you do it before.
Anyway, I did not put up that much of decoration because I come home from school quite late and I won't be home from the 22nd until next year, so there is not really a point to overdo it. But I still wanted a Christmas tree however there is not a lot of space so it had to be a small one and I've found the perfect tree for me.

Everything about it is perfect and I have found such cute little baubles.
I`ve got some cute tea light holder as well and a copper plate with some fake snow, baubles, tea lights and other things.
Last but not least I've got this vase with some white sand, fake snow and twigs which is so lovely, it actually is my favourite bit. I've got fairy lights and scented candles everywhere and, of course, my advent calendars. I hope you enjoy the pics that I took (even tho I'm not the best photographer).
What Christmas decorations do you have?
Love, Steff xx

PS: I try to link as much of it as I can or stuff that is similar to what you can see on the pics.
